I am a musician originally from India and currently based in Basel, Switzerland. I recently completed my Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance at the Jazzcampus, Basel, and am now pursuing a Master's degree in Music Pedagogy.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of performing with various ensembles and exploring a wide range of musical genres, though my passion remains deeply rooted in jazz. My journey as a guitarist and composer has led me to create for multiple settings, from solo guitar pieces to duos and quartets. I also have a background in classical guitar, intermediate piano, and a basic understanding of Indian classical music and rhythms.
Beyond performing, I'm dedicated to teaching and sharing my love for music with students of all levels. Music, for me, is a lifelong journey of learning and growth, and I continue to explore new possibilities in sound, composition, and performance.
Teaching Methodology and Experience

I have been a student of music for many years, learning different instruments and styles from a variety of teachers, which has shaped my perspective on the exchange of knowledge. After several years as a student, I began my teaching journey at the Prism School of Music in Delhi, where I taught students of all age groups for a year. I also have experience teaching both online and offline, at institutes and as a freelancer, particularly since I began teaching around the time of the pandemic.

My goal as a teacher is always to understand the individual needs of each student from multiple perspectives and to build a curriculum that works for them. I strive to recognize the student's relationship with music and gauge how deeply they wish to explore different topics. Additionally, it is important for me to consider the cultural aspect of teaching, as I have worked with both students and teachers from diverse backgrounds.

Another key element of my teaching approach is gathering feedback from students, learning from them, and understanding how I can support their growth. Fortunately, I have been surrounded by other teachers with whom I regularly exchange ideas and methods to benefit both myself and my students.

I am always interested in meeting new people and exchanging ideas, and always look forward to starting a new journey with each student.
